| semi-happy day(s) |
I've been writing some of my posts in MS Word and then forgetting to publish them here. While I haven't had the "oh happy, happy" day I've been wishing for, I've had some very nice moments spread out over several days.
I was finally able to finish my 20 minutes on the elliptical machine in the gym (horrid torture device, I swear) without slowing my pace thereby maintaining a speed of 120 to 130 kph.
I was also able to keep the pace on the rowing machine (30 spm).
I've been taking driving lessons and I think I'm doing quite well, thank you very much. Just this morning, I crossed the Bicutan Interchange, entered South Superhighway and C5, then did a u-turn in C5-Kalayaan to head back to Better Living. Then before heading home, my mom and I took a quick spin around the neighborhood and I got to park the car in the garage! :) Yay for me.
I've got some interesting prospects for a job. As I mentioned earlier, I had an interview with
East West Bank last Monday for a job in Treasury as Trading Assistant which is pretty cool. Then I had a call yesterday from
Leo Burnett.
I'm leaving for Baguio on Friday with some friends. I'll be there until Sunday, then we're heading for Sagada. I'll be back on Tuesday.
My family and I are headed to Bora for some fun in the sun on May 31! Finally, my dreams of going to the beach this summer will come true.
I've finished with my online course on Corporate Social Responsibility with the
World Bank. Phew! That was a long, somewhat difficult course (info overload!)
On the flip side, though, I haven't watched
Matrix 2 yet.
